It's all about you
Hey again zombie-enthusiasts
I apologize for the delay. A lot of recent activity at our sister site (TF2Maps.net) has taken most of time, plus the usual rl & school stuff. But I digress. First off, I'd like to welcome our new members. Always good to see more people interested in custom zombies In mapping news, there are some very cool new projects being developed recently. Head over to the WIP forum and check it out; http://forums.l4dmaps.net/forum-21.htmlNext item of interest, this really cool email that Corion received. I think the new Steam forum is as good a place as any to start posting questions. Also, don't forget to make a thread for any new maps or projects! Word of mouth is our best friend right now. Which leads me to the title of this post. The best thing we can do for our community activity right now is to casually tell people at every opportunity. For example, during the times I'm waiting in the lobby, I ask if anyone has campaign ideas. Then tell them to come here and post it When you're browsing the aforementioned new Steam forum, you can link one of our many tutorials.Custom L4D1/2 is a fickle mistress. There is less variety in gameplay, and the small-team orientation means it gets stale faster. So it's up to us to get excited. Bring up discussions in the Steam forum, ask people in your lobby if they played any good customs recently. Success is all about you guys making custom zombies more accessible to the masses
